10-key lesson 5: The decimal point

Amounts need a decimal point. On the keypad it sits to the right of 0, and you press it with your ring finger.

Your ring finger reaches down two rows from 6 to the decimal key. Practise the move slowly at first.

How each lesson works

Every lesson has three short exercises: the new keys on their own, a mix with keys you already know, and realistic numbers. Type each entry and press Enter. A wrong key turns red, and you can only move on with the right one. Pass with at least 92% accuracy. In the last exercise you earn up to three stars, depending on your speed in keystrokes per hour (KPH).
