10-key lesson 1: The home row 4 5 6

Start on the home row of the keypad. Your index finger rests on 4, your middle finger on 5 and your ring finger on 6. Press Enter with your little finger after each entry.

Feel for the small bump on 5. Your middle finger always goes there first, and the other fingers fall into place.

How each lesson works

Every lesson has three short exercises: the new keys on their own, a mix with keys you already know, and realistic numbers. Type each entry and press Enter. A wrong key turns red, and you can only move on with the right one. Pass with at least 92% accuracy. In the last exercise you earn up to three stars, depending on your speed in keystrokes per hour (KPH).
